Thanks to those who attended.
Today we discussed the instructional value of Text Entry Steps in a software simulation.
We made reference to:
- The proper procedure as outlined in 13.1.2 of the Venza Group ID Style Guide.
- New developments in Adobe Captivate’s 6.0 that allow learners within a simulation to input text in fields which become locked throughout the training stage, on subsequent screens.
- The pedagogical value of inputting text in simulation training.
- The commitment of our development team to investigate the addition of a locked text field feature to the Venza Group’s SimArete simulation building tool, similar to that which has been released via Adobe in Captivate 6.0.
